From Mora to Magic: Why Lendt’s Pumpkin Patch Is Worth the Drive

My Visit to Lendt’s Pumpkin Patch

We had such a great time at Lendt’s Pumpkin Patch this year. It honestly felt like the perfect fall day — pumpkins everywhere, kids running wild, and the smell of hay and fried food in the air. The hayride was so fun, and we got to learn about bees and how much they help the crops grow. I never realized how important they were until I heard her talk about them — it made me look at all the pumpkins a little differently.

They have so many pumpkins — around 20 kinds, which completely surprised me. When I saw the pie pumpkins, I got so excited because I really wanted to try making pumpkin soup and pie this year. I brought one home and made pumpkin soup for the family, and it turned out amazing. My recipe for the pumpkin soup. Next week I will be making a pumpkin pie with her recipes listed on her website!

The kids loved the play area, and there were so many cute spots for family photos and selfies. I probably took way too many pictures, but the memories are worth it. And I learned something new — popcorn corn! I didn’t even know that was a thing, but now I want to make it for our next movie night.

We didn’t have any snacks or treats this time; however I love all the options at the concession stand! I am a sucker for a great pie!

We left tired, happy, and with a car full of pumpkins. I’ll definitely be going back — it’s one of those places that just makes fall feel special.
